Rules quiz

How much of Bomb Busters do you still remember? Each question opens on its answer.

What happens when a Dual Cut guess is wrong and the targeted wire turns out to be blue or yellow?

The detonator dial advances one space and your teammate places an Info token in front of that wire showing its real value, using a yellow Info token if the wire was yellow.

When are you allowed to perform a Solo Cut?

You may Solo Cut when all the remaining wires of a value still in the game are in your hand, cutting all 4 if you hold the full set or the last 2 if a pair of that value has already been cut, and for yellow only if you hold every remaining yellow wire.

When does an equipment card become usable?

An equipment card unlocks as soon as 2 wires of the value in its top left corner have been cut, and it can then be used only once before being flipped facedown.

What happens with the Double Detector if neither of the 2 wires you pointed at matches and exactly 1 of them is red?

The bomb does not explode, the dial advances one space, and your teammate silently places an Info token in front of the wire that is not red.

When is a player allowed to take the Reveal Your Red Wires action?

Only when every uncut wire they have left is red, in which case they lay them all faceup in front of their stand.
