Rules quiz

How much of Age of Innovation do you still remember? Each question opens on its answer.

When another player builds or upgrades next to your buildings and you choose to take the power, what does it cost you?

You take exactly the total power value of your adjacent buildings or none at all, paying one point less than the power you actually gain.

What do you need in order to advance past Level 7 in a Discipline on the Science display?

You need a City Key for that specific Discipline, and without one any Levels beyond 7 are lost.

How much does it cost to upgrade a Workshop into a Guild?

It costs 2 Tools and 6 Coins, or only 3 Coins instead of 6 if another faction's building is adjacent.

What are the requirements for automatically founding a City?

You need a group of at least 4 adjacent buildings not already in a City with a total power value of at least 7, though a group with a University needs only 3 buildings and one with a Monument needs only 2.

When you receive free Spades from an action, how may you use them?

Free Spades go on a single hex, you may buy extra Spades with Tools only if the free ones aren't enough to reach your native terrain, and if you get 2 or 3 Spades you don't all need, you may spend the rest on other hexes in reach but may only build a Workshop on the first hex.
